Seasonal Gathering Floral Basket Workshop
摘み草 — Seasonal Gathering Floral Basket Workshop
Sunday, April 12 · 5:30 PM
In this workshop, we will explore the gentle art of tsumikusa—the feeling of gathering seasonal plants by hand, as if walking through a quiet spring field.
Using carefully selected seasonal flowers and foliage, you will create a Japanese-inspired floral basket with a soft, natural “just gathered” aesthetic. We will focus on capturing the small, delicate details of spring—lightness, movement, and the beauty of imperfection. This session is designed to be both creative and meditative, guiding you to slow down, observe nature, and arrange with intention. Each participant will leave with a unique floral basket that feels personal, organic, and alive—like carrying a piece of the season home. Beginner-friendly.
Note:
Flowers and materials will be thoughtfully chosen based on what is freshest and in season that week, so each arrangement may vary slightly from the images shown.
