A whimsical journey through miniature seaside homes and dreamy Okinawan blues.
Born in Nagoya, Japan. After studying design at Musashino Art University, worked in product design for major electronics, focusing on touch panel displays. Seeking more personal connection with users, discovered pottery while living in Okinawa. Inspired by the directness of handmade craft, began studying ceramics under Nobuyoshi Kato and developed a unique style combining Bingata textile patterns with pottery.
Graduated from Ikutoen in 2008 and opened her own studio in Nanjo City, Okinawa in 2009.
